Community Health Specialist

At HCRG Care Group, we're seeking an exceptional Community Health Specialist to join our esteemed team. As a specialist in public health nursing, you will work closely with our Healthy Family Team Leaders to provide preventative and supportive healthcare to children, young people, and their families.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in public health nursing, with a focus on delivering the healthy child programme at all four levels. This role also involves day-to-day operational line management and supervision of School Staff Nurses and Support Staff, ensuring seamless delivery of services for school-age children.

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of the healthy child programme at all four levels
- Operational line management and supervision of School Staff Nurses and Support Staff
- Caseload management of work for School Staff Nurses and Support Staff
- Mentorship to pre-registration and post-registration students
- Collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure seamless delivery of services
Salary: £45,753 - £53,668 per annum (Band 6 salary with NHS Pension and full Agenda for Change terms and conditions)
