We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lakeside View, a leading provider of mental health services. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert psychiatric care to patients on our acute wards, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication throughout the care pathway.
- Participate in ward reviews and CPA meetings to ensure clear communication and promote individual recovery and discharge.
- Contribute to the development of our services, including training and education programs for staff and patients.
- A competitive salary of £165,000.
- Full-time dedicated Speciality Doctor support and on-site RMO cover evenings and weekends.

We strive to support patients to be discharged safely back into the community, where they can continue to progress towards recovery in a less restrictive environment.

- Effective liaison and joint working with Locality teams.
In taking on this role, you will be part of a visionary and inspiring team, joining a group of individuals whose main goal is to support our patients and their families with their recovery journey and to live their best life.
We work closely with NHS partners to ensure that patients safely transition from our Acute Services back into the community, with robust follow-up support packages.
Our acute wards provide patients with excellent space and facilities, including en-suite bedrooms and large living spaces furnished with activity equipment such as games consoles.
Outside of the wards, a purpose-built therapy suite contains a rehabilitation kitchen for patient cooking sessions, and a sessional therapy room. The hospital is set in the centre of an extensive nature reserve, which contains an abundance of flora & fauna.
