About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lakeside View, a 30-bedded hospital in Willenhall. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients aged 18 and over in an acute setting.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment plans for patients on Robin and Swan wards.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Conduct regular ward reviews and CPA meetings to promote individual recovery and facilitate discharge.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic interventions, combining psychiatric and cognitive behavioural perspectives with occupational therapy, psychology, leisure, and recreational activities.
Requirements
  • Hold a CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry.
  • Have experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties.
  • Be able to conduct training and work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
