About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lakeside View, a 30-bedded hospital in Willenhall. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to patients with acute mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert psychiatric care to patients on Robin and Swan wards, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct ward reviews and CPA meetings to promote individual recovery and facilitate discharge.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions between inpatient and community services.

Requirements
  • Have experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties.
  • You will have experience at Consultant level within the NHS, including the ability to conduct training.
Qualifications
  • You must hold a CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry.
  • You will continue to hold a registration with the GMC including being on the special register for Psychiatry.
