We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lakeside View, a leading mental health hospital in the region. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex mental health needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, occupational therapists, and nurses.
- Conduct ward rounds and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, including registrars and medical students, to ensure their development and growth.
- Contribute to the development of our services, including the design and implementation of new programs and initiatives.

What We Offer- A competitive salary of £165,000.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties.
- Experience at Consultant level within the NHS, including the ability to conduct training.
- A CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry.
- Registration with the GMC, including being on the special register for Psychiatry.
