Job Title: Senior Psychiatrist

Lakeside View is a 30-bedded hospital in Willenhall that provides acute care for patients aged 18 and over.

We are seeking a full-time Senior Psychiatrist to cover 17 beds in our Acute service, covering Robin and Swan wards.

The role will involve working with male and female patients, fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician to patients from admission to discharge with the support of a skilled and motivated Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).

The successful candidate will be part of a well-established and cohesive team of medics, including Medical Director, Consultant Psychiatrist, Speciality Doctors, Registered Medical Officers, and Aston University Medical Students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients
  • Lead the MDT in providing high-quality care and promoting patient recovery
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in training and education programs to maintain professional development
