About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lakeside View, a 30-bedded hospital in Willenhall. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients aged 18 and over in an acute setting.

Main Duties

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment plans for patients
  • Leading a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participating in ward reviews and CPA meetings to ensure clear communication throughout the care pathway

Experience Required

We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties. You will also have experience at Consultant level within the NHS, including the ability to conduct training.

Qualifications

You must hold a CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry and continue to hold a registration with the GMC including being on the special register for Psychiatry.
