Job Summary
NHS Professionals Limited is seeking a dedicated and organised Part-time Medical Secretary to provide essential administrative support to medical staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support with the compilation of reports, typing letters and correspondence, including from digital dictation when required, and uploading patient information onto Rio and any other appropriate system in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide support with the compilation of reports, typing letters and correspondence, including from digital dictation when required.
- Upload patient information onto Rio and any other appropriate system in a timely manner.
- Help manage the 3 inboxes.
- Answer the telephone, take messages, and process enquiries.
- Take and produce meeting minutes and follow actions arising.
- Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook, as required.
- Assist with the supervision, coaching, and training of Junior Administrators in the team.
- Assist with reception duties for Outpatients departments when required.
- Check that stationery supplies are adequately stocked and order when necessary.
- Contact the Estates Department to carry out repairs and check work has been undertaken to satisfaction.
- Keep notice boards tidy and up to date and add anything of interest or importance to staff.
- Carry out other duties as requested by the Office Manager to support the quality of service provided by the team.
- Help create documentation regarding new processes.
- Keep the Trust policies, procedures, and fire book up to date.
