**Job Title**:Team/Medical Secretary

**Location**:Wallingford Community Hospital, Reading Road, Wallingford, OX10 9DU

**Hours**:Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 9am - 5pm (22.5 hours per week)

**Trust Location**:Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Provide support with the compilation of reports, typing letters and correspondence including from digital dictation when required and to be responsible for uploading patient information onto Rio and any other appropriate system in a timely manner.
- Helping to manage the 3 inboxes
- Answering the telephone, taking messages and processing enquiries.
- Taking and producing meeting minutes and following actions arising.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Previous administration experience
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- IT literate including use of Excel and databases
- To have knowledge of Rio, Bighand, Docman (desirable)
- This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience._
