Job Responsibilities

  • Provide support with the compilation of reports, typing letters and correspondence, and uploading patient information onto Rio and other appropriate systems.
  • Help manage the 3 inboxes.
  • Answer the telephone, take messages, and process enquiries.
  • Take and produce meeting minutes and follow actions arising.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications as required.
  • Assist with the supervision, coaching, and training of Junior Administrators in the team.
  • Assist with reception duties for Outpatients departments when required.
  • Check that stationary supplies are adequately stocked and order when necessary.
  • Contact the Estates Department to carry out repairs and check work has been undertaken to satisfaction.
  • Keep notice boards tidy and up to date and add anything of interest or importance to staff.
  • Carry out other duties as requested by the Office Manager to support the quality of service provided by the team.
  • Help create documentation regarding new processes.
  • Keep the Trust policies, procedures, and fire book up to date.
