Event Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Senior Catering Assistant to join our team at AJ Catering Staff. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, creative, and talented caterer to develop their skills and engage in a wide range of events and functions held at our facility.
Job RequirementsThe successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with experience in managing large-scale catering events.
Main Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Sourcing: Assist in planning and sourcing menus for events and functions, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Catering Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair catering equipment, ensuring that it is in good working order and meets health and safety regulations.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Ensure that all catering areas are clean and well-maintained, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring that stock is always available and up-to-date.
- Salary: £12.84 per hour, equivalent to £26,700 per annum.
- Holidays: 33 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays.
