Job Title: Commercial Director - UK

£80,000 + uncapped commission salary based in Manchester with hybrid working (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

We're a fast-growing marketing brand collaborating with international companies. Our goal is to establish a process-driven Account Management function.

The Role

You'll oversee commercial growth, implement sales strategies, retain clients, and expand the customer base. Lead a team, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior management to grow the commercial function.
  • Manage budgets and sales profitability targets.
  • Recruit, train, and lead the Account Management team.
  • Conduct weekly 1-1s and team development sessions.
  • Build a positive, high-performing team culture.
  • Track performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
  • Manage a CRM pipeline to track client communication, upsells, and new deals.
  • Support the team in contract negotiations to ensure win-win outcomes.
  • Achieve key business KPIs, including new business, client retention, and revenue growth.
  • Conduct market research and develop strategic business plans for growth.
  • Create a consultative selling environment focused on client retention and high growth.
  • Represent the business at relevant conferences and events.
Your Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a sales head/director/manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of performance reporting, financial processes, and budgeting.
  • Strategic thinking with commercial awareness.
  • Demonstrable experience building and executing sales strategies and achieving results.
  • Exceptional organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to negotiate effectively and foster long-term client relationships.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with a consultative selling approach.
