About the Opportunity
The Strategic Growth Director role is responsible for driving the successful development and delivery of both domestic and international inward investment into Greater Manchester. Key responsibilities include:
  1. Representing MIDAS and Greater Manchester in engagements with senior leaders across local, national, and global organisations and stakeholders.
  2. Managing the marketing and activity budget, ensuring that activity is well planned and evaluated, and working closely with the Marketing Manchester team to develop strategic engagement with the public and private sector in Greater Manchester.
  3. Leading and developing a high-performing team to meet targets within budget, and overseeing capital investment attraction, real estate and developer engagement, and account management for foreign-owned businesses in Greater Manchester.

What We're Looking For

  • An experienced sales team manager with a track record of delivering results with and through others.
  • A skilled negotiator, able to influence a wide range of public and private organisations at senior levels.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Your Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on your experience, as well as excellent benefits and opportunities for professional development.
