About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Operations Specialist to ensure market leading customer service is provided to all customers through effective and efficient coordination of workshop Engineers.

The ideal candidate will have industry knowledge, good communication skills, and experience of dealing with customers and providing excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prioritize, allocate and distribute work to workshop Engineers ensuring optimal equipment utilization and timely completion of tasks.
  • Prepare quotations for any chargeable work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with service office, short term rental & customers to guarantee equipment turnaround on schedule.
  • Ensure all equipment that leaves the workshop is thoroughly serviced and has up-to-date Thorough Examination records.
  • Collaborate with engineers and parts department to prepare repair quotations and estimates as required.
  • Liaise with parts department regarding back orders to effect job completion and resolution in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with refurb team to meet annual targets and optimize workshop productivity.
  • Manage and distribute work to sub-contractors where necessary.
