Veterinary Assistant Practitioner

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our Walton on Thames Vets for Pets practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting all colleagues with non-clinical duties to support the smooth running of the practice and provide exceptional patient care.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress into a student nurse role in the future.
Key Responsibilities- Providing a warm welcome to clients and their pets upon arrival at the practice.
- Staying up-to-date with practice services and additional services available to provide guidance to clients.
- Remaining calm and attentive, focusing on meeting clients' needs.
- Bringing enthusiasm and drive to the role, with a passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and exceptional customer service.
- Dealing with various situations, from comforting clients with bad news about their pets to sharing in the joy of a new puppy's first visit to the vet.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and possess a genuine love of animals.
