Regional Director for Critical Care and Major Trauma Networks

About the Role
The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to fill the position of Director for Critical Care and Major Trauma Networks. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in a regional and strategic position.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight of the Cheshire and Mersey Adult Critical Care and Major Trauma Specialised Clinical Networks. This will involve informing and progressing the delivery of work plans that reflect the changes in commissioning arrangements for both services and that are aligned to the new national SSCN specifications.
Key Requirements
- Extensive experience of working within a higher senior leadership position within an acute provider setting.
- Proven delivery of strategic leadership at an organisational or network level.
- Extended post-registration higher level clinical and operational management experience.
- Evidence of preparing and implementing business and operational plans and in informing the wider strategic service development at a local and wider cross organisational/ regional level.
