Head of Cleanliness and Maintenance

Lark View Care Home in Kent is seeking a skilled Senior Cleaning Coordinator to lead our housekeeping team and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
This is a full-time position, with a salary of approximately £27,600 per annum (based on 40 hours per week), plus benefits such as pension, onsite parking, paid DBS, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and organizational skills, with experience in supervising teams and managing inventory. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily cleaning operations, scheduling and delegating tasks
- Training and evaluating new employees
- Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conducting quality inspections of residents' rooms and common areas
- Addressing resident and staff complaints and requests
- Maintaining safety and sanitation procedures
- Liaising with other departments to ensure effective communication
