Cleanliness and Maintenance Manager

Lark View Care Home in Kent requires an experienced Cleanliness and Maintenance Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

This is a full-time position, with a salary of approximately £28,000 per annum (based on 40 hours per week), plus benefits such as pension, onsite parking, paid DBS, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience in managing teams and maintaining inventory. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the housekeeping team and overseeing daily operations
  • Training and evaluating new employees
  • Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Conducting quality inspections of residents' rooms and common areas
  • Addressing resident and staff complaints and requests
  • Maintaining safety and sanitation procedures
