SEN Emotional Support Specialist for Lewisham School

We are seeking an experienced SEN Learning Mentor to join our team at a school in Lewisham, London. The successful candidate will provide emotional and academic support to students with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Position Details:
- Type: Full-time Permanent
- Location: Lewisham, London
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEMH needs, knowledge of behaviour management techniques, and a DBS check. As a SEN Learning Mentor, you will be responsible for providing 1:1 and group mentoring to students, assisting them in developing coping strategies for emotional and behavioural challenges, and collaborating with teachers and the SEN team to monitor progress and wellbeing.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques
- DBS check required
