Aspiring Clinical Psychologist Opportunity in Lewisham

A reputable education establishment in Lewisham is seeking an ambitious Aspiring Clinical Psychologist to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a desire to develop their skills in this field.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing additional support to pupils who require extra help to progress academically, socially, and behaviourally. This role presents a unique opportunity for the right individual to apply their knowledge, gain valuable experience, and enhance their skill set in a rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech & Language difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Develop and implement tailored strategies to promote academic, social, and emotional growth
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
Requirements:
• At least a 2:1 degree in Psychology from a top-tier UK university
• Experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential)
• Strong ambition to become a Clinical Psychologist
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
