Supporting Neurodivergent Students in Lewisham

We are seeking a skilled SEN Specialist to join our team at one of our partner schools in Lewisham. As a SEN Specialist, you will work closely with students who require additional support to thrive academically and personally.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, preferably a First-Class Degree from a Top 20 UK University, and prior experience working 1:1 with neurodivergent or SEN students. You will also possess sensitivity to emotional dysregulation and a solid understanding of safeguarding practices.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students inside and outside the classroom, making connections in the field of SEN, and upskilling in psychological support. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career as an Assistant Psychologist or pursue further education.
We offer a competitive salary of £500-£550 per week, paid weekly via PAYE, and a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 8am to 4pm. The contract duration is immediate until July 2025, with opportunities to continue beyond.
Key qualifications include:
- A First-Class Degree in a related subject from a Top 20 UK University
- Prior experience working 1:1 with a neurodivergent or SEN student
- Sensitivity to emotional dysregulation and a strong knowledge of safeguarding practices
- A brilliant academic record, dating back to GCSEs
