Children's Services Manager Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Children's Team Manager based in Cardiff.
- About the Role:
- The successful candidate will ensure that high-quality services are provided for carers and supported lodgings providers.
- Responsibilities include making safeguarding decisions, referrals, and allocating work in accordance with statutory requirements.
- The role involves direct supervision of principal social workers and the Fostering Services Training and Development Officer.
- The post holder will act as an advisor to the fostering panel and be responsible for performance management and quality assurance of the service.
- Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Care Wales registration.
- Recent experience in a managerial capacity, preferably as a Team Manager.
- Significant frontline experience in Adults/Children's Services, ideally as a Team Manager.
Salary: £45 per hour (assignment rate)
Contract Duration: Locum, 3-Months/ongoing contract
