Job Summary:

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled 3rd Line Applications Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our clients, handling tasks such as BAU, new builds, and project work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to integration teams, ensuring seamless delivery of projects.
  • Handle tasks such as BAU, new builds, and project work, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Act as the point of escalation for customer issues, working closely with local and centralized support teams to resolve complex problems.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent communication and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Linux operating systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server environments, including setup, configuration, and management.
  • Understanding of containerization (Docker), including deployment, scaling, and security.
  • Experience with web servers like IIS, Apache, and Nginx, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Desirable skills include understanding of SSL certificates and virtual server platforms, familiarity with Octopus Deploy, Bash/PowerShell, and Ansible, and knowledge of databases (MS SQL, MariaDB, MySQL, Cassandra).
