A leading food wholesaler in Liverpool is seeking a Wholesale Business Expansion Specialist to join their ambitious team.

With a background in the wholesale of foods or similar, this role will consist of both business development and account management, reaching out to businesses primarily in the hospitality sector such as hotels to grow the company's market share in those areas. You will also be helping to train more junior sales executives and attending periodic sales meetings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reaching out and developing new business opportunities
  • Managing existing accounts to continue growth and expansion
  • Travelling around the North West region to meet with clients and potential clients

As a Wholesale Business Expansion Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving sales growth. You will also be involved in the development of sales strategies and tactics to achieve business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the wholesale of foods or similar, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also be comfortable with travel and willing to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business.

In return, the company offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 + uncapped commission, plus a range of benefits including a company car and opportunities for progression to regional manager roles.
