SENCO Opportunity at Our Inclusive Primary School

We are seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to join our team as a SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), working within our SEMH Provision to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils, promoting their emotional, social, and academic development while working collaboratively with the school team and parents/careers.

  • The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the specific needs of pupils with SEMH, as well as significant experience working with SEND pupils.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and a flexible, proactive approach to problem-solving will be essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, preparation, and assessment
  • Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, promoting their emotional, social, and academic development
  • Collaborating with the school team to develop and implement strategies that support SEND pupils
