Depot Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Depot Supervisor to join our dynamic team at HB People Recruitment & HR Specialists. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of depot staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our depot, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve operational excellence.
- Multi-tasking: Oversee multiple tasks and responsibilities, ensuring all operations are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Health and Safety: Enforce and maintain health and safety standards across all depot activities.
- Operational Oversight: Manage inventory, equipment, and resources to ensure efficient depot functioning.
- On-Call Rota: Participate in an on-call rota to provide support outside of regular working hours.
- Physical Demands: Handle physical tasks and responsibilities, including manual labour and equipment management.
We are looking for a flexible and forward-thinking Supervisor who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You will have a strong background in plant hire, supervising a team, and ensuring good health, safety, and individual well-being. You will be a good leader and people manager, able to anticipate customers' needs and deliver great service.
