Mechanical Engineer Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer Specialist to join our team in Aspatria. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for all machinery and equipment on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out breakdown repairs on machinery and equipment as required via requests from operational supervision or as directed by the Engineering and Maintenance Department supervision
  • Perform preventative maintenance service tasks on machinery and equipment as indicated on the departments maintenance schedule system
  • Conduct installation work as and when required to do so as requested by the Engineering and Maintenance Department supervision
  • Assist in project work as requested by the Engineering and Maintenance Department supervision
  • Ensure adherence to safe systems of work/maintenance as provided and displayed within the department
Requirements:
  • Possess excellent mechanical engineering skills and knowledge
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality
Salary:

£35,000 - £45,000 per annum
