Quality Assurance Specialist

At James Walker & Co Ltd, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support our quality management system and ensure compliance with national, industry, and customer standards.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a degree standard in engineering or related discipline, proven experience in a quality environment, and a solid understanding of quality management systems. They will be proficient in quality core tools and Microsoft applications, and possess good IT skills and the ability to work in a pressurised environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support quality management system and ensure compliance with national, industry, and customer standards
- Handle customer and supplier enquiries and support visits
- Represent quality department at internal and external meetings
- Improve quality standards and performance
Requirements:
- Degree standard in engineering or related discipline
- Proven experience in quality environment
- Solid understanding of quality management systems
- Proficient in quality core tools and Microsoft applications
- Good IT skills and ability to work in pressurised environment
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
