London, Greater London, United Kingdom Elysian Residences Full time

Elysian Residences is a UK-based business specializing in the development and operation of luxury retirement communities. We offer a premium service and care provision that until recently could only be found in countries such as the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

We are currently seeking a skilled Residential Facilities Manager to join our team at The Oren in Hampstead Heath. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to take on a new challenge and make a real impact.

The role will involve overseeing the planned and reactive interior and exterior maintenance of all units and communal areas, ensuring adherence to company standards. You will also be responsible for coordinating community events and managing daily/weekly tasks related to bins and bin yards.

A key aspect of this role will be conducting regular inspections of facilities and equipment, implementing strategies for customer satisfaction. You will need to communicate effectively with department heads on preventative maintenance and ensure that applicable laws and regulations are adhered to.

In addition, you will maintain up-to-date records for mechanical, electrical, and structural aspects of the building. This will include executing weekly/monthly/quarterly statutory checks/tests and ensuring safe access to public areas and appropriate lighting.

You will also be responsible for managing snow and ice removal, reducing potential hazards, and enforcing emergency procedures. Furthermore, you will stimulate awareness of health and safety among employees and oversee 3rd party contractors on-site, ensuring adherence to policies and reporting any issues immediately.

This is a permanent, full-time role, offering a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will benefit from a contributory pension scheme, healthcare cash plan, and death in-service two-time salary. Access to hundreds of discounted daily purchases via Bright Exchange is also available.

We are looking for someone with 3 years' experience in maintenance, M&E, or fabric engineering. Previous experience in hospitals, care, leisure, or hotel backgrounds is desirable. To be successful in this role, you should be highly organized, able to prioritize, and have excellent communication and administration skills. A full clean UK driver's license and flexibility to work 7 days a week, 24 hours, with shift patterns subject to change according to business requirements are also essential.
