Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced RMN to join its Assertive Outreach Team as a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse.

The successful candidate will work with adults aged 25 years plus, supporting individuals who have historically avoided contact with mental health services. This will involve using a flexible and creative approach to engagement, as well as communicating effectively at all levels and demonstrating competent risk assessment and risk management skills.

Key Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification at degree level or equivalent and NMC registration.
  • Previous community experience working with service users with complex long term needs.
  • A commitment to achieving the highest standards of care whilst utilising the care program approach framework.
