Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is committed to providing high-quality care to our patients and their families. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Psychiatric Nurse - Older Adult Services to join our team in the West Community Hub.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have experience working within Older Adult Services and will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work autonomously, prioritizing and managing their workload effectively, while also being part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality care to patients with complex mental health problems
  • To coordinate a caseload of patients, working closely with multidisciplinary teams
  • To develop and implement individualized care plans that promote recovery and well-being

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification
  • Knowledge of physical health issues, MHA/safeguarding/governance, and medication
  • Experience of CMHT and managing own caseload
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload, communicate effectively, and demonstrate resilience and a positive attitude

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £38,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including annual leave, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
