Deputy Manager Childrens Home Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at YourCareer-Recruitment Limited. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior leadership role in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

The Deputy Manager will be responsible for assisting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the childrens home, ensuring that we maintain high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations. As a key member of the management team, you will contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and play a leading role in implementing changes to improve the quality of service.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in a similar role, with a strong background in childcare and a proven track record of managing teams effectively. You will be passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people, and will be committed to working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the childrens home
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations
  • Lead on implementing changes to improve the quality of service
  • Manage and motivate a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Contribute to the development of training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is up to £40,000 per annum, paid on a monthly basis. In addition, overtime will be paid at an hourly rate, and sleep-in shifts will be paid at £50.00 per shift. The successful candidate will also receive a generous benefits package, including flexible working hours, paid holidays, and opportunities for career development.
