Role Overview:
As a Residential Support Worker at StartMonday, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our specialist children's home. This is a rewarding role that requires a strong sense of empathy and a passion for working with vulnerable children and young people.
Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people in all aspects of their daily lives, including personal care, education, and leisure activities.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of each child's or young person's progress, including their daily activities, behavior, and any concerns.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing cases and share best practices.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in providing high-quality care.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in residential childcare or a related field.
- A strong understanding of child development and behavior principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £29,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience.
