As an Electronics Hardware Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing bespoke electronic controls and interfaces to support these endeavours.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware design for 3 phase control systems, including component specification and installation. Familiarity with high power motors and actuators or industrial automation is also essential. Additionally, you should be proficient in general soldering skills, both PCB and wiring looms, and have experience researching and specifying components for electrical systems.

We are looking for someone who can effectively fault find and problem solve, maintain workshop equipment, and adhere to safe practices in electronics. Occasional periods of off-site work may be required, so flexibility is key.

Key Skills:

  • Hardware design for 3 phase control systems
  • Experience with high power motors and actuators or industrial automation
  • General soldering skills, both PCB and wiring looms
  • Researching and specifying components for electrical systems
  • Fault finding/problem solving
  • Maintaining workshop equipment

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with microcontrollers (Arduino, PIC, etc.) and their use in control circuits
  • Some knowledge of DMX, other show control systems
  • Experience in the creation and production of PCBs (layout, adherence to required design rules, arranging for manufacture)

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of £37,000 - £44,000 per annum, reflecting your skills and experience, and the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects in the entertainment industry.
