The Operations Lead plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of St Aldates' operations.

This position comes with an estimated annual salary of £45,000 - £60,000, commensurate with experience.

Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Operations Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various administrative tasks, managing facilities, and planning events.

Responsibilities:

  1. Event Planning: Oversee event logistics, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with the church's mission.
  2. Facilities Management: Maintain buildings in good condition, ensuring cleanliness and security at all times.
  3. Team Leadership: Provide line management support, including goal setting, performance management, and staff development.
  4. Inventory Management: Purchase consumables and manage inventory effectively.
  5. Health and Safety: Lead initiatives to maintain a safe working environment.
  6. Safeguarding: Ensure procedures are followed to protect vulnerable individuals.
  7. Relationships: Manage relationships with neighbours and external partners.

  • Proven people management skills, able to set vision and lead a team.
  • Experience of fast-paced environments.
  • Able to deliver customer service under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
