Job Title

A dedicated Special Needs Teacher is required to join our team at a high school in the Manchester area.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4pm (5pm finish Wednesdays, 3:30pm finish Fridays), with an estimated salary of £24,000 - £29,500 per year.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a KS3 group of learners with Complex Needs on a structured timetable, learning at much lower levels than expected for their age.

The school caters for young people aged 11-16 with Autism, SLD and Complex Needs, utilising a bespoke curriculum that focuses on preparing students for life after school and aiming to help them achieve their potential.

Requirements
  • An enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to apply for a new one
  • Overseas Police Clearances if applicable
  • The legal right to work in the UK
  • QTS or QTLS
