About the Job:
A Primary School in Oldham is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will work in the school's specialist unit for children with Autism, supporting Reception/KS1 aged pupils. This role would suit an individual who has a genuine passion for working with children with Autism and has experience implementing behaviour management strategies. The ideal candidate will be able to provide dedicated support to the children, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to children with Autism
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive outcomes
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers and other professionals
- Work collaboratively as part of a small team
