Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Autism Support Specialist to join our team at a local secondary school in Salford.

This full-time, long-term position will involve providing specialist support to secondary age pupils with autism and ADHD.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with pupils with autism and ADHD and be able to develop effective strategies to support their needs.

Responsibilities
  • Providing specialist support to secondary age pupils with autism and ADHD
  • Developing and implementing individualized support plans
  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment
Requirements
  • Experience working in secondary settings
  • Ability to work with pupils across Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Skilled at working with pupils with autism and ADHD
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate
