Job Summary:

The role of a SEN and SEMH Support Worker at Protocol Education is to provide essential support to students with SEN and SEMH needs. This involves working closely with teachers, special educational staff, and parents to create and implement individualised support plans.

About the Role:

As a SEN and SEMH Support Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting the mental and emotional well-being of students. Your key responsibilities will include offering one-on-one and group support to students, assisting them in building emotional resilience and coping strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges.

Required Skills and Qualities:

  • A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students
  • Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting young people
  • Ability to implement tailored support strategies and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
