Join Outcomes First Group as an Educational Support Assistant for SEN Pupils and contribute to making The Wenlock School an outstanding provision for our young people and their families.

About the Role

This role involves supporting pupils with complex needs, requiring 1:1 staff support. You will work closely with individual pupils who face social, emotional, and learning challenges, such as speech and sound disorder, disordered expressive language skills, delayed understanding of language, concentration and attention difficulties, challenging behavior, and work avoidance behaviors.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with various agencies that support the young person, including Social Workers, Speech and Language Therapy Service, Social Communication Disorder Assessment Service, Early Intervention Team, and Educational Psychologists.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,714 per annum (pro rata) for this permanent, term-time only position.

Responsibilities
  1. Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils and young people;
  2. Work in accordance with professional practice, statutory and legal requirements, and the policies of The Wenlock School;
  3. Support pupils in achieving their full potential through tailored education and care plans;
