Edinburgh College is seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Officer to join its team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in delivering the college payroll service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the work of the Payroll team, ensuring that finance policies and procedures are adhered to and monthly payroll is accurate and processed to strict deadlines.

This role requires a strong understanding of payroll processes and policies, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a recognized payroll or finance qualification, or relevant experience.

A major part of this role is ensuring that all statutory returns and year-end statistics are completed accurately and on time. This involves working closely with the Payroll team to ensure that all necessary information is gathered and submitted correctly.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the Senior Payroll Officer will also be required to work at any Edinburgh College campus. This may involve occasional travel between campuses, so flexibility and adaptability are essential.

The estimated salary for this position is £35,097 per annum, based on the location and requirements of the job. The exact salary will depend on individual circumstances, but this gives an indication of what to expect.
