Edinburgh, Edinburgh, United Kingdom NHS Scotland Full time

NHS Scotland is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment, free from unlawful discrimination. Our goal is to have a workforce that truly represents the community we serve, where each employee feels valued and empowered to excel.

We are dedicated to supporting candidates with disabilities, long-term conditions, or neurodivergent traits by making reasonable adjustments to our recruitment processes.

NHS Scotland is transitioning to a 37-hour working week, effective April 2024, without a reduction in pay. This change will also apply to part-time staff on a pro-rata basis. This job posting and any subsequent employment contract reflect this new working arrangement.

However, as not all service areas can immediately adopt the 37-hour working week, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period, for which you will be compensated until your service area adjusts its rosters or working patterns.

This is a fixed-term maternity leave cover position, lasting 39 weeks.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Senior Management team to implement service development initiatives, contribute to ensuring high-quality team performance, and provide line and operational management for the LEDS administrative team.

You will have the chance to utilize your management, interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills in a varied and rewarding role, working independently but also as part of a close-knit team.

This is primarily an office-based role, but it may be blended with working from home. The exact working hours and days will be agreed with the successful candidate. Salary will be based on experience.
