We are seeking a motivated and caring Care Assistant to join our team at Sanctuary Care. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring they receive the support and dignity they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personalized care to residents, following their individual care plans">
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting">
  • Helping with meals and snacks, including serving food and drinks">
  • Participating in resident activities, such as games, exercises, and outings">
  • Maintaining accurate records of resident care and progress">
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • ">
  • Have a genuine liking for older people and their needs">
  • Be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing">
  • Possess basic math skills">
  • Be flexible and able to work varied shifts">
  • Have experience working in a care environment (not essential but desirable)">
  • Be willing to undergo comprehensive training and support to develop your skills and confidence">
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information">
