About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at HMP Isle of Wight. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership for the primary care team, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
  • Act as a role model, promoting professional standards and appearance at all times.
  • Support senior clinicians on site, contributing to the daily leadership team and providing clinical input for all patients.
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge or refer patients, independent of medical intervention.
  • Lead by example, sharing your experience and knowledge through clinical supervision sessions and formal teaching opportunities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (Adult) or qualified Pharmacist, with evidence of continued professional development and a prescribing qualification. Experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment is desirable.
