Exciting Opportunity for Clinical Lead Specialist

Iris Care Group has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead Specialist to join one of our well-established teams at St Peter's Hospital.

The successful candidate will work in partnership with clinical and operational leaders and a broad range of stakeholders from across the local system to ensure we continue to provide a high-quality service.

The role is responsible for the application of clinical care and interventions that enhance quality, improve service delivery, and have positive experience outcomes for patients, carers and staff.

The Clinical Lead Specialist will focus on supporting effective practical leadership in service area and promoting a culture of high performance and clinical excellence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the support and monitoring of the assigned care pathway quality and improvement plans.

Role Responsibilities

The Clinical Lead Specialist is responsible for the application of clinical care and interventions that enhance quality, improve service delivery, and have positive experience outcomes for patients, carers and staff.

The role combines clinical expertise, leadership and education / research skills with management and professional responsibilities.

The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Unit Managers to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, as well as coordination of quality improvement initiatives, clinical audit and NICE guidelines.

Requirements

  • Passion for patient centred care and quality improvement
  • Established track record for delivering performance standards through compassionate leadership
  • Experience in overseeing nursing interventions for people with complex behavioural, personal care and medical needs
