We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Gastroenterology Specialist to join our team at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have expertise in gastrointestinal disease and the ability to provide exceptional patient care.

The estimated salary for this position is £85,000 - £105,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time role that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality clinical services.

As a Gastrointestinal Disease Physician with South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex gastrointestinal conditions. Your expertise in endoscopy and gastroenterology will be essential in helping us to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

The trust has an expanding cohort of Inflammatory Bowel Disease patients, and we are looking for someone who can contribute to the development of our service in this area. You will also have opportunities to participate in academic research and education, including teaching medical students from Warwick and Buckingham Medical Schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency cover and weekend working as part of our on-call rota
  • Contribute to the development of our clinical service, including endoscopy and gastroenterology
  • Support undergraduate education, providing clinical teaching and supervision of medical students
