We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Development Specialist to join our team in Medicine at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. This is a full-time position based at Warwick Hospital, offering a unique opportunity for professional growth and development.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for supporting in-patient and out-patient services in the Emergency Division, providing senior guidance to junior medical teams, and contributing to research, education, audit, and continuing professional development.
Main Responsibilities- To take responsibility for continuing professional education in accordance with guidelines set out by the appropriate college/faculty/professional body.
- Initiate and participate in research and audit programmes in accordance with Trust policies, working in collaboration with colleagues to develop skills and provide new ways of working across different professions, organisations, community, and primary care.
- In conjunction with Consultant colleagues, ensure that the requirements of clinical governance are met.
- Participate in clinical and other service activities to ensure a high standard of patient care, work flexibly, and contribute to the development of junior colleagues.
- Broad interest and experience in General Medicine and Care of the Elderly.
- Expressed interest in undergraduate and postgraduate education.
- Undergraduate medical degree.
- Valid ALS certificate.
