About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Governance Specialist to join our team at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Governance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our clinical services are delivered to the highest standards, and that our patients receive safe and effective care.

Key Responsibilities

  • To support the in-patient and out-patient services in the Emergency Division at Warwick Hospital and to provide senior support and guidance to the junior medical team
  • To take responsibility for continuing professional education in accordance with guidelines set out by the appropriate college/faculty/professional body
  • To initiate and participate in research and audit programmes in accordance with Trust policies and to work in collaboration with colleagues in developing skills to provide new ways of working across different professions, organisations, community/primary care
  • To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care

Person Specification

Essential

  • Broad interest and experience in General Medicine and Care of the Elderly
  • Expressed interest in undergraduate and postgraduate education
  • Undergraduate medical degree
  • Valid ALS certificate
