Corporate Governance Specialist

Company Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Governance Lead to play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our corporate governance framework.

Responsibilities:
  1. Governance Meeting Management:
    1. Oversee the operational effectiveness of select governance meetings, identifying and implementing enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
    2. Ensure adherence to meeting protocols, governance frameworks, and best practices.
  2. Information Flow & Escalation:
    1. Facilitate the seamless flow of information between different levels of governance meetings.
    2. Manage the escalation process for risks, issues, and change control requests from lower-tier meetings to the appropriate higher-tier forums.
  3. Dashboarding & Reporting:
    1. Utilize corporate dashboarding and reporting resources to design and create informative dashboards tailored to the specific needs of governance meetings.
    2. Present key performance indicators (KPIs), risk metrics, and other relevant data in a clear and concise manner to support effective oversight and decision-making.
  4. Continuous Improvement:
    1. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of corporate governance processes.
    2. Stay abreast of best practices in corporate governance and implement relevant improvements.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (Desirable).
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate governance, company secretarial, or similar role.
  3. Strong understanding of corporate governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  4. Excellent communication, relationship management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  5. Proven experience in multi-level stakeholder management.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar productivity tools.
  7. Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Estimated Salary:

■ £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
