Care Sector Training Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Health and Social Care Trainer to join our team in Maidstone, delivering high-quality training to care professionals and supporting the growth of our business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the care sector, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education and development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Deliver Training Programs: The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging training programs for new and existing in-house care staff, focusing on health and social care modules.
- Maintain Training Records: They will be responsible for completing relevant marking, follow-up administration, and compiling training paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with Team Members: This role involves working closely with other branch trainers to ensure all training modules are up-to-date with any changes in legislation.
- Foster Relationships: The trainer will help build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing staff, supporting their continuing professional development and training.
- Liaise with Stakeholders: They will liaise with existing and potential clients regarding their training needs, adapting their communication style depending on the trainees.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Health and Social Care training.
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently.
- RQF/PTLLS certification desirable.
- Qualifications in Basic Food Hygiene; Health & Safety; COSHH; Mental Capacity/DOLs; Dementia; Moving and Handling (Theory & Practical), First Aid/BLS; Medication.
